In 2013, HBO commissioned Jason to arrange and orchestrate a suite for chamber orchestra based on the original soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi. He then recruited the musicians, conducted rehearsals, and performed at the official Game of Thrones Season 2 release event in New York City.
